TOUR DAY
getting started & getting around
10am to 4pm on Saturday, April 5th
ALREADY HAVE YOUR TICKET?
You may choose to start at any home on the tour. Advance ticket holders who purchase online or by mail will receive a pre-tour email with everything needed to get started on tour day, and those that purchase same-day tickets online will receive instructions by email.
BUYING A TICKET IN PERSON?
Guests planning to buy tickets IN PERSON should begin their day at: WEYMOUTH, BIRDWOOD or THE ENGLISH COTTAGE in Southern Pines; or TWIN WILLOWS by the lake in Pinehurst. Access is restricted at two tour homes located in gated communities: A Retreat for Wellness & Relaxation and A Modernist Personality will require guests to show their tour passes to enter. Addresses for tour homes and locations will be made available the week of the tour. An online Google Map will be available here, and advance ticket purchasers will receive this information in their pre-tour email.
LUNCH at WEYMOUTH
Boxed picnic lunches are $20 each and are exclusively available by pre-ordering ahead of the tour. For guests purchasing a boxed picnic lunch, your Passport will be specially marked when you first check in for the tour. Your reserved meal can be picked up at Weymouth from 11:30am to 1:30pm. Lunch guests have the will have the choice of dining in the storied Boyd House or al fresco in the lovely gardens, and as an additional choice for 2025, you can take advantage of our new to-go option without having to leave your car.
TOUR DAY TRAVEL
A map of the tour will be provided in your Passport for quick reference, but we recommend also using a GPS mapping system to plan your route. Maps and addresses for featured tour locations will be shared here on our website as we get closer to tour day, and all advance ticket holders can expect to receive a pre-tour email with the locations and access details. *Note: two homes are located in gated communities with restricted access. Details will follow. If you have not purchased a ticket, please begin your day at one of the tour locations specified above.
Directional signs will be placed along the route and parking directors will be stationed at each home. Drop off areas or limited parking is available for those guests needing improved accessibility. We ask that tourgoers speak to the parking attendants for guidance, and we also encourage guests to make good use of carpooling with your friends. Parking for groups is available at the Campbell House and the Weymouth Center, both located on W. Connecticut in Southern Pines.
